Robin Sharma - How I Beat Procrastination

Can I not believe whatsoever what I have done this week yet. Notwithstanding, I am trying to move on now. You see I let my negative thoughts take over for some reason. Thus, I have decided that from hereon in, I will do my best to keep my mind occupied. I must work out a way of doing it. Truth be told, I do not actually do what I say all the time. I am a natural procrastinator who thinks he has a lot of time ahead of him. Even though I have been through the mil this week, have I learned something important. Never should you allow hatred or negative energy to control. Let us get something straight though. By no means am I a bad person. However, I am the kind of folk who gets sick by harboring negative thoughts for long periods of time. Hence, the need for me to find not only a fulfilling activity, but one that can take my mind off things once in a while. What lies behind my feelings may be me constantly pondering over the past. Still and all, have I know learned how precious life is and am willing to fight for achieving my goals from now on.

A good friend told me I should start writing in paragraphs, I had never thought of it, since I was trying to mimic the grade 12 English writing style. Anyhow, do I want my future achievements silence all the underestimating predictions some of the people who know me may have about me.
Nonetheless, I do not exactly want everyone marveling at my courage if life gives my the chance to ultimately be successful. Nonetheless, earning respect is my long-life goal. For starters, am I going to have to stop having a parrochial way of thinking. If I at some point of my life start realizing how important it is to start from the bottom, will accomplish a lot more tan what have already. I ´must learn to pay my dues before I want to start running staff myself. Let me clear up though that throughout my entire life, I have put all my eggs in one basket. Consequently, getting myself depressed after not accomplishing the desired goal. Do I have to change that pattern for my own sake. Errors come in all shapes and forms. Nonetheless, whether or not we make them is up to us.

The same way a priest successfully administers the sacraments to the flock, I must learn to get to the point in which I can put myself in public without hesitation. Still do I want to become an ESL teacher. Howbeit, it is going to take some time for me to realize that things are not as complicated as we think they are. I draw on my personal experiences so as to come up with something to write. Be that as it may, if I miss out on many things due to my negativity, there won´t be much to write about either. For now, I just hope God can forgive me and allow me to continue. Will I not improve in leaps and bounds. Nonetheless, I will try to make as much progress as I can, instead of chewing myself out that is.

Lastly, I would say that I will also post a video on procrastination so as to get an idea about what not to do. I have to create my own road-map for success. Even so, is it not going to be easy. Hence, do I need a few more lucky strikes in order to reinforce my sense of hope. I must confess though a last thing that apart from being wedded to English, am I also wedded to my phone. Therefor, my next post will be about how we can get ourselves away from our devices. That would be all, I am going to be more breve from now on. Not exactly lionhearted, but assertive enough to get the things I need to follow through with my goals.

Still do I need to come to terms with the present. From now on, I don´t want any successful folk to lord it over me that they have accomplished something more than I have. Therefore, I will have to exert myself so as to accomplish my ultimate goals. Nonetheless, cutting my ties with the past seems yet impossible.

First off all, I´ll need to chip off my personality´s rough edges. Am I on the way now though. Nonetheless, getting rid of self-deprecation is not easy task. Thus, getting all my ducks in a row before I embark on a journey crowded with challenges, I will need to stabilize myself once and for all. Besides, I need to find an environment conducive to my interests and try to work on them as much as I can. Still and all, not only do I have to focus on that, but on becoming a more independent person as well. I cannot be a zealous student 24/7. That would drive me nuts. Hence, the need for me to find a balance between my studies and leisure. I must learn to forgive my parents having abdicated their responsibilities towards me. In order to acquire an equable nature, I am going to have to forgive myself and avert having  a hypersensitive state of mind. Irrespective of how hard it will be for me to get my act together, I will have to do it. My contingency plan towards failure will be work has hard as I can to prevent it.

By no means can I get caught up in the past. I need to follow through with what I have started off. Not to mention, that the better I feel, the better I will be able to perform. Not only do I want to get myself up to speed with people who already have some working experience on my field, but I also want to be able to feel comfortable with myself for a change. High-flying folks did not get to where they are now overnight. I know that. Though, if I ever want to get to the point in which I am exalted for my accomplishments, I have to start small. The past can wear away at us only if we let it. Be that as it may, by keeping ourselves busy we do not allow negative thoughts to inflict harm on our health. Just like we wash over criticism sometimes, we must learn to brush off past negative experiences that might hunt us. The only way to combat failure is by doing something. Only I know whether or not I will be able to consummate my endeavors.

Lastly, I must learn to roll back my insecurities, and prevent others from taking away from my achievements. "You had better do this". "You had better do that". No one should tell me what to do from hereon in.

Go with your gut feeling | Magnus Walker | TEDxUCLA

Success... is it a mystery? It certainly is not. Nonetheless, most of us struggle to attain it. The key to achieve success though might be on whether or not you are willing to lean over backwards trying to do it. Moreover, there are many more aspects that will help you out reach your ultimate goals. For instance, how wide your circle of contacts is, or how much you immerse yourself in environments that related to your profession. Thus, it is essential for us not only to cement our working relationships, but also friendships that could last a lifetime.

Being able to garner all the support you can get to fulfil your goal not only will get you on the right track, but also to one up your competition. Believe me, have I been lamenting my current situation and blaming others for my mistakes long enough. Still and all, now I try to cleave to the belief that ¨hope springs eternal¨. For example, one of the things that make me most proud is to have created this blog while I was convalescing after an operation I had. Notwithstanding, there are several more things I want to accomplish yet. By no means do I feel bereft of ideas at this point of my life. Irrespective of the fact that oftentimes some of my past mistakes hunt me, I have tried to keep myself as busy as possible not to lose focus. What is more, by revivifying my routine from time to time, I have found a new purpose in life. It is true however that some wounds from the past will never be able to heal up.

Be that as it may, it is never to late to start over and even attempt to break new ground. Hence, I have realized now that the only way for me to reach the top is to live life on my own terms. Regardless of how many times we could have come up short of our goals, there is always a second chance. I have heard a saying that says ¨When you do more than you get paid for, eventually you will be paid for more than you do¨. It indeed summarizes why some people succeed against all odds. From hereon in, I have decided to try to grasp every single big chance that comes my way. Anyhow, what is your modus operandi for success? If well known criminals have all planned out to ace all the robberies; wouldn´t it be easier for us hard-working and normal people to design a plan to achieve our objectives?. Therefore, it is up to you whether you will end up revelling in your new-found freedom and success or not.

Lastly, I would say that this not the first time I have staked out my position on an important issue. Albeit, I consider this to be one of the most important topics I have talked about thus far. To recap let us bring up some of the previous points I made: Reciprocate kindness shown to you, and favours done to you by anybody. Not only from close friends that is. That way you feel reinforce old friendships and create new ones. Always have lofty ambitions in mind and double down on your efforts to attain them. Do not forget to always keep a positive mind-set and spruce yourself up a little more once in a while for serendipitous encounters.

Truly Amazing Teacher

What does it take to have great teachers? Well, that is not a question that complicated to answer. In fact, I would say that aside from constant preparation, educators need motivation as well. We constantly hear about people sniping at our education system. Be that as it may, nobody does anything to change it. I was talking about the reality in South America of course. In Peru for instance, most people with at least a little education and common sense feel bummed out due to all the abuse committed against young learners here. Education has become more of a business than a means to get opportunities. Thus, our current situation warrants immediate action. Such as the implementation of new programs in order to further students talents and abilities. For example, the construction of youth centers close to shanty towns would help youngsters who are struggling to find either a pastime or a skill they can learn to make a living. Even though it is nearly impossible for underdeveloped nations to keep  abreast of the latest developments of education, changes can be made in order to improve learning conditions, especially in poor areas. Notwithstanding, local politicians attitudes foreclose any possibility for progress. It does not mean though that common people cannot do their part and launch into action. An instance of change would be the good job some teachers who do their best during each class they teach. Small actions add up to big ones. In order to straighten out the problem of unmotivated educators, changes from above have to be made. Nonetheless, as I said before each small change can make a difference. Besides, if need be, some further action can be done. Such as petitions to the authorities, among other peaceful protests. Younglings nowadays look for ways to cut corners so as to accomplish their goals. Moreover, we need more people who love what they do. 80% of teachers here are expecting economic incentives among other things in order to work harder. Still and all, they are foolish enough not to realize that if they were willing to pay their dues a little longer, they would eventually get what they deserve. Hence, the reason why most of these teachers are looked with disfavour by society. College educators for instance, most of the time have nasty attitudes towards their students. Consequently discouraging them from keeping up with their studies. Young generations deserve a lot more. In order to reprise their previous achievements for example, top students need constant motivation. Ergo, the need to dispense with negative staff at schools is indispensable. By no means should motivation be kept out of scope from the topic of ways to improving education. Several students in developing countries are always pinching pennies and making sacrifices so as to save for good schooling. Whereupon, the complaints of incompetent teachers must of course be dwarfed the needs of learners. By no means should actions for a better future be kept on the downlow. Everyone deserves to put in their two cents irrespective of how important they are. We have got enough unbending T-shirts that we cannot afford to have more. Anyhow, it is time for me to sign off and write off the last draft of the assignment I have to hand in on Monday.

Diana Laufenberg: How to learn? From mistakes

You do not have to be very circumspect before calling someone a bad teacher in my country; as opposed to how difficult it is to find a good one though. In all fairness, having a good education encompasses a lot more than just having competent pedagogues. The whole curriculum starting from elementary school in Peru for instance has to be changed. In fact, courses such as English and most sciences except for Math are poorly considered by most schools. Not only do learning at public schools in Lima disappoints, but also at Universities. There are only a few exceptions which are mainly private of course. Is it discouraging for students to find most of their classes boring? Indeed it is. Nonetheless, there is more to it than that. You see, people nowadays also complain about the fact that learners waste a lot of time in college for example taking useless courses even after the first two years of tuition. In so doing, student mainly quit and look for quicker ways to improve their skills. Thus, lowering their chances of getting better opportunities. As crappy as the majority of colleges may be here. People need their degrees so as to get good jobs. Still and all, Peru does not seem to be the only country on earth with a deplorable educational system. Many other nations struggle with the same issue. Some changes have been made here for the time being. Such as handing out scholarships for poor students from the highlands to study in Lima. Albeit, decentralizing the country would make a lot more sense. Is getting a decent education going out of favour nowadays? Well, in most nations in may appear so. Not only is the problem spreading among underdeveloped nations, but also in the first world. Hence, we do not need more politicians who have got the gift of the gab. Instead we need to take action. Most attempts of the central government to improve the quality of schooling our children receive has missed the mark on account of the following: Money. Most prestigious teachers are getting more rapacious than ever. Consequently, they get used to applying for scholarships to teach abroad or whatnot seems a lot more encouraging for them. For all intents and purposes, our views and the decisions we make regarding teaching have to change. Be that as it may, how much is that change going to set the authorities back? And better yet. Is such an upturn ever going to happen? As long as people here do not come to grips with our current situation, nothing will ever improve. In order to get our system off the ground, people cannot wait for the government to devolve responsibilities on them. Initiatives must be taken by students and educators alike. Peaceful protests, requests to the authorities, among other things must be made so as to let the authorities know what they are doing is wrong.

Martin Seligman: The new era of positive psychology

What is it that makes you happy? Is it money, fame, among other shallow accomplishments one might get? ; or is it gaining feelings of realization, being useful to others, having a wide circle of loved ones from whom you can learn each single day and also share what you know with them all?. Everyone knows that of course success is achieved by virtue of hard work. Nonetheless, success itself encompasses a wide variety of vital elements. Among the most important ones we have how comfortable we feel regarding the job we are doing know, whether or not we really think we have fulfilled all of our previously set goals, etc. The path towards making our dreams come true is indeed a long-winded one. Nonetheless, once you have achieved your ultimate goal, I guarantee you that you will feel beside yourself with joy; owing to looking back at all the sacrifices you had to make to get where you are now. Then again after allaying your excitement, you will realize that even after becoming the person you always wanted to be, there is still a long way to go. You see, you can teach others for instance about your experience and encourage future generations not to give up on their dreams, irrespective of how unrealistic their goals may be. Besides, there are several factors that help out a person along the way. A common instance might be networking. The more interesting people you know, the better chances you have. Thus, you should press beyond your strong ties so as to meet more people who are willing to assist you. By only relying on a limited amount of people, mainly close to us, we are also dialing back our chances to become a better person overall. Of course there is a point along your journey in which one feels stagnating in whatever position they find themselves in. Many people might quit right before a great change is about to happen in their lives due to lack of motivation. The ones who can carry it off after all are the those who ultimately succeed. Moreover, even greatest people on Earth have found themselves stumbling over countless bumps on the road. Albeit, they recrafted their lives and went on. It is not easy whatsoever though to remain rooted and disciplined during the whole process of working towards a goal. Be that as it may, there is always something to feel proud of. Anytime you feel you are not worth it, sort through your files and you will be impressed. You will remember how many diplomas you have earned for instance while progressing on trying to achieve some previous objectives. On the other hand, it is always better to vent by talking a friend or whatnot anytime you feel annoyed about something. Never allowed resentment towards anybody fester in your mind. One of the reasons why people do not feel happy most of the time as well is because they probably are always holding a grudge against someone else.
In order to carve out a successful career, it is necessary to stay focused and prioritize your activities. Thus, do not let ailments such as depression beset your health whatsoever. What is more, always try to look for fresh impetus to doing the things you like the most. You could have the talent to acquit yourself brilliantly in most of the tasks you set your mind to. Nonetheless, if we get caught flat-footed by new challenges on account of not having enough motivation. Hence, the need to never stop once you get the ball rolling. Whether or not you stack up on new tasks assigned is up to you. It is not easy to emanate self- confidence at first. Still and all, once you do it, it gets easier by the second.

The Purpose of Kabbalah.com

kabbalah... I did mention it in one of my last year posts but never got in depth with the topic. There is a lot to learn I still have. Ergo, the need for me to try to find a train of thought that can help me solve my daily problems in a more accurate way. In the past ten years, knowledge of kabalah has been disseminated around the world so as to help people overcome the hardships of life. By studying Kabbalah, not only have I sated one more desire to widening my knowledge, but also aid me in the difficult task of understanding the importance of going beyond our thoughts on instant gratification. According to Kabalah, there are two realities in this world: One of them being our 1% reality of darkness, and the other one being the  99% realm of light. The deplored aforesaid reality of darkness, is the one with most live in. Temporary rewards seem to abound in our life. Irrespective of the fact that it is important to pride ourselves on our achievements to some extent, it is more important though to understand that all that is fleeting will not ultimately give us eternal peace. If there is anything that piques my curiosity right now, is looking for ways to find part of that peace and embrace it. I have to confess though, that I am more sort of a loquacious individual when it comes to putting my thoughts down on paper. The more informed you are, the better able you are to deal with the vicissitudes of life. Thus, I encourage you not to get stuck in Kabbalah, but to look even further. As a wise man once said ¨Don´t let the opinions of others drown out your inner voice¨. In other words, if you believe something is worth doing, you do not have to ask. For all we know, there is only one lifetime. Hence, we cannot afford to let things undone by any means. It is normal that at some point of our lives, we may start feeling nonplussed due to experiencing some kind of disappointment. Nonetheless, we must learn how to surmount any obstacle, regardless of how hard it seems to overcome. The only way to begin tapping into the 99% realm of light is to focus more on the abstract. What I mean by these is that our feelings for instance, are impalpable. Notwithstanding the might as well be able to fill in that void that is felt every time we go through any sort of suffering. For example, in one of the passages I read from this novel I am about to finish the author mentions: ¨Once when I was in elementary school, my parents bought me and my brother these old fashioned cotton jackets they thought looked amazing on us. Be that as it may, they did not. Every single child at school would make fun of us owing to the fact that we were the only ones wearing them. However, when we began trying to understand my parents, we disregarded all the stupid comments from the other pupils at school. In lieu of denigrating my parents effort, we considered the fact that they had worked hard in order to buy those same jackets we were wearing. By comprehending how much love they had put into those gifts, we began accessing the 99% realm of light¨. Therefore is feels much more fulfilling when we take a step instead of waiting for God to remit our punishment. The creator will only intervene  when necessary. Thus, there is no need for us to expect him to extend us an invitation to snap out of our narrow-minded thinking. This seminal train of thought that began gaining force by the late 1920 is now known as kabbalah. Not only do I intend you to from this belief, but also to expand your knowledge as much as you can so that you can draw your own conclusions. If you are imbued with a desire to learn, this is but a pill of what you can do at the start.
