I kind of overslept today. Well not really, since I´ve been through a lot this week. In fact I´ve been feeling kind of anxious cause of a little issue I have with one of my professors. Anyhow, at least I shouldn´t feel guilty about having more rest on Sundays. However, have I been upfront about my intentions with this blog. Ergo every time I have off and feel up to it, I will write. Even now do still want to carry out all plans I have in mind. Nonetheless, I know that is not possible. Sometimes I feel like shrilling my demands to the world. Even though, I know that would have no effect. In a recent Tedtalk I watched, I heard psychologist Alison Ledgerwood talking about how one gets over failure. People tend to think more about their flubs than their successes. Then again, who hasn´t thought about how to mend a bungled attempt to accomplish something?. Ergo, according to this keynote speaker, what we have to do is to focus on the positive stuff that we experience daily. She did not exactly mean to trumpet our own achievements. Albeit, that would help too. Rough experiences may bring us down at times. Notwithstanding, after we stand back up again, we get stronger. It seems hard to one up our rivals for instance. However, what sets us apart from others is our ability be sedulous in what we do, despite how many setbacks we may encounter. Being vanquished by our own lack of inner strength doesn't seem right. For example, Even if you have been dressed down by your boss, you still can have a good day. Further, if you think they are being unfair, you can always reply politely. Lastly, I´d say that you should consider the idiom ¨Make hay while the sun shines¨. Never do you know when your chances will run out. By the way, on Tuesday I´m having theology. Since my school is religious, I´m forced to take it. Why did I bring this up?. Well, let´s say that I consider this class one of the setbacks one has to overcome. Besides, its assignments are kind of tough. Although, nothing like an exegesis of a text.
