This has been a tiring week as well. You see, I am taking a dance class too. Even though it just takes place once a week, it is really demanding. Maybe, I have to get back on track. Since I stopped exercising due to my accident. Anyhow,  nowadays , we´ve become desensitize to violence, among other deplorable acts we see in the news. Well, we have got so used to hearing of them that we do not care anymore. However, we do if they affect our society. For instance, I would venture to say that public transport in Peru is the worst on earth. Not only that, but it is also dangerous. It all started 24 years ago. The dictator Fujimori had just been elected. It was without a doubt the worst decision from Peruvians to vote for him. This monster held the presidency for ten years. Not only  did he privatize successful public businesses; he also got rid of the only public transport company there was. He even sold all its new units. Hence,  several transport companies (that were created shortly after) decided all to work independently. Thus, making a mess of Lima city. Really, you see these SOB drivers contravene safety regulations every single day. Ergo, you can see different size buses galumphing around the city and causing accidents on a regular basis. Why has not anyone done anything to solve this problem?. Let us say there are interests involved. It is true that after two decades, the municipality installed a few new units of transport. New tracks and routes were created for these tandem buses to move. Nonetheless, even now they do not cover all the city. Besides that, an over-ground train was installed too. Though, guess what? It does not cover all the city either. What happened to these crappy buses that cause havoc all over the place?. They are still in motion. No single politician has had the balls to get rid of them. Therefore, now we have an overpopulated city with lots of problems. Will us Peruvians be chortling after a change anytime soon?. I doubt that. Notwithstanding, I wish that happened. I may have talked about this topic already. However, I neglected to mention some things.
